Big Brother Australia is coming back to Channel 10 in 2025, promising an exciting new season. Host Mel Tracina shared some insights about what viewers can expect from the upcoming series.
The final list of contestants remains confidential and may still change. However, Mel revealed that the participants will span “across five decades.”
“It’s ranging from a grandmother to a single mum to a barber to a self-confessed bogan,” Mel said. “We have blue-collar workers and white-collar workers. We have a diverse range.”
Mel highlighted the show's unique appeal compared to other reality formats:
“You don’t need to fit certain criteria to be in the house. You don’t need to be physically or mentally strong, like you would [on] Survivor. You don’t need to be single, like you would on MAFS.”
This fresh approach aims to bring a broad spectrum of personalities and backgrounds into the spotlight.
Author’s summary: Big Brother Australia returns in 2025 with a varied and unique contestant mix, emphasizing inclusivity beyond typical reality show criteria.
