Randy Madden, a former contestant on American Idol, is facing six felony charges related to alleged sexual activity with a minor. The 45-year-old faces accusations of at least one sexual encounter between July and September of this year, according to records from the Superior Court of California, County of Ventura, reviewed by PEOPLE.
A criminal protective order has been issued for the alleged victim.
Madden appeared in court via Zoom and pleaded not guilty to all charges, according to the court records. After being booked by the Ventura County Sheriff on October 30, he posted bail set at $100,000 and was released on November 4.
His next court date is scheduled for Thursday, November 7.
