During an interview with Graham Bensinger on In Depth with Graham Bensinger, Tim Tebow reflected on how becoming a father has transformed his life. He and his wife Demi-Leigh recently welcomed their daughter, Daphne Reign, who is now four months old.
The former professional football quarterback, aged 38, discussed the deep sense of responsibility he feels since Daphne’s arrival. He explained how protecting his daughter has become a central focus in his daily life.
“The biggest adjustment has been trying to protect the baby from everything around them. You know, people say… ‘Did you ever know you could love something so much?’ I don't think that’s been the biggest adjustment. From the moment I was told about her, I instantly knew I loved this little baby.”
Once Daphne was born, his sense of duty intensified. Tim detailed how they baby-proofed their home to keep her safe, paying close attention to every corner and step.
“Once she was here with us, the level of responsibility went up. I was like, ‘Okay, when we walk in, all these corners, we gotta fix them on the steps.’ You’re constantly looking at every place she could fall or bump a knee. It’s not a fun place of baby proofing.”
Tim Tebow’s experience as a new dad has sparked a heightened sense of protection and responsibility, reshaping his perspective on love and care for his daughter.
