The World Wide Technology Championship opens November as the second of three international events in the FedExCup Fall, held in Los Cabos, Mexico. The tournament takes place at El Cardonal at Diamante Cabo San Lucas, a course designed by Tiger Woods.
U.S. Open champion J.J. Spaun heads the 132-player field this week. According to FanDuel Sportsbook, he enters as a co-favorite at +1300 odds. This marks Spaun’s third consecutive appearance at El Cardonal and his tenth straight start in the event overall.
Spaun has finished within the top 25 in eight of his last ten tournaments. His season includes a major victory at Oakmont, along with runner-up finishes at THE PLAYERS Championship and the FedEx St. Jude Championship.
“Spaun sinks a 17-foot birdie putt on No. 18 at Procore.”
After his T6 result at the Procore Championship, Spaun returns for his first start since September. With his strong ranking of fifth in Strokes Gained: Approach the Green, his precision with the irons could quickly push him up the leaderboard.
Ryder Cup standout Ben Griffin also holds +1300 odds and shares the top betting line with Spaun. Twice a TOUR winner in 2025, Griffin looks to continue his success on the Baja Peninsula at this fifth of seven fall events.
Author’s summary: Spaun enters the Los Cabos event as co-favorite with Griffin, ready to continue a stellar season on a course designed for aggressive play.
