A single vehicle collision involving a grey Vauxhall Astra occurred on Lochlibo Road around 7:30pm on Saturday evening, leaving three people in hospital.
Emergency services responded to the scene, and two men, aged 47, and a woman, aged 36, were taken to hospital for treatment.
Sergeant Jack Swindells said: “Enquiries are ongoing, and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash to get in touch with us.
A 47-year-old man, the driver, has been arrested in connection with the incident, according to police confirmation on Monday, October 13.
