Temperatures will drop sharply throughout Sunday, bringing the first light mix of rain and snow of the season. Briefly wintry weather will arrive with wind chills dipping into the teens.

The weekend will shift dramatically from mild conditions on Saturday to a much colder Sunday. Outdoor plans are best handled Saturday when the weather remains calm and temperatures climb into the low 50s as clouds increase.
Late Sunday into Monday, lake effect snow will begin forming. On-and-off snow showers are expected through Monday, mostly near the lakefront where totals will be highest.
Daytime temperatures should briefly rise above freezing, so any sticking snow is more likely during early morning or late-night hours.
