Rugby Australia has confirmed the return of former Wallabies fly-half Carter Gordon after a brief stint in rugby league.
"I’ve watched both Queensland and the Wallabies from afar over the past year or so, and the journey they’re on motivates me to want to work hard and contribute positively on and off the field."
Gordon, 24, has signed a three-year contract with Rugby Australia and the Queensland Reds until 2028. He left rugby union in 2024 to join the Gold Coast Titans in the NRL, but his time was cut short due to an ongoing neck injury.
Gordon made only one first-team appearance for the Titans before undergoing surgery for a spinal fluid leak. He is now set to return to rugby union, motivated to contribute to the Wallabies and Queensland.
