On Tuesday, November 4, 2025, municipal elections took place across North Carolina and South Carolina. Voters in dozens of counties cast ballots for local offices, including mayors, city council members, commissioners, and other community positions.
WBTV provided live updates on election results for races throughout the Charlotte region covering both states. The results were displayed alphabetically by county, allowing users to easily navigate between North Carolina and South Carolina contests using the “More Elections” button.
Election results will appear in real-time as they are reported after polls close. Results remain unofficial until certified by the appropriate election boards.
If you are in line before polls close, you are entitled to cast your vote even after the official closing time. However, no one may join the line once polls have closed.
