Golden State basketball is back in action. Join the live game thread to discuss tonight’s matchup as the Golden State Warriors face the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday night. Tip-off is set for 7:00 PM PT in Sacramento and will air on NBC Sports Bay Area.
The Warriors ended their winless road trip with a 118–107 victory over the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday. Despite feeling under the weather, Steph Curry led the team with 28 points. Jimmy Butler, who has been dealing with back issues, played only 14 minutes before exiting at halftime.
In Curry’s absence, Moses Moody stepped up with a season-high 24 points in 34 minutes off the bench, providing a crucial spark for Golden State.
Head coach Steve Kerr announced that Curry will miss the second game of the back-to-back to recover from illness, and Butler will also remain out as he continues to rest.
The Kings will also play without key contributors Domantas Sabonis and Zach LaVine, leaving both teams shorthanded. With limited rotations available, depth and bench performance will be decisive factors in Sacramento.
Both teams enter the matchup missing major players, making bench strength the key factor in a tightly balanced matchup between the Warriors and Kings.
