German National Biathlon Team Heads to Idre Fjäll
On Tuesday, the German national biathlon team departed for their final Olympic season training camp in Idre Fjäll, Sweden. The athletes attending include Selina Grotian, Marlene Fichtner, Janina Hettich-Walz, Johanna Puff, Sophia Schneider, Julia Tannheimer, Vanessa Voigt, Philipp Horn, Johannes Kuehn, Philipp Nawrath, Danilo Riethmueller, Justus Strelow, Simon Kaiser, Roman Rees, and David Zobel.
Training Collaboration and Upcoming Races
At Idre Fjäll, the Germans will train on snow alongside Swedish biathletes Lisa Vittozzi and Lukas Hofer. This camp will prepare the athletes for the opening competitions scheduled for November 15 and 16.
Franziska Preuss Prepares Separately
Contrary to some reports, Franziska Preuss, the reigning big crystal globe winner, will not join the team in Sweden. Instead, she will complete her preparation on the snowfarm in Obertilliach, Austria.
