Marine Communications Experts Compete in Inaugural Thunderstruck Competition
Marine communication experts participated in Thunderstruck, a first-of-its-kind contest testing field radio and combat skills.
A team of four Marines from the headquarters regiment of 1st Marine Logistics Group emerged as winners among 15 squads, hosted by 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing.
The Thunderstruck Communications Team Competition
was run by Marine Wing Communication Squadron 38, testing teams of Marines operating radios, networks, and communications gear in the field.
