Juliette won £250,000 when her Lockerley Road postcode, PO9 2LD, was drawn as the weekly Millionaire Street prize. The postcode covers a nine-storey block of flats in Leigh Park, where three ticket holders shared the prize equally.
Juliette’s Reaction
“There was disbelief when I saw the cheque and then a wave of emotion came over me. But I managed to pull it together.”
She was surprised when Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt delivered the cheque to her door.
How the Win Happened
Juliette explained she planned to cancel the lottery direct debit a couple of months ago but was overwhelmed by work and personal commitments:
“I was going through direct debits and bits and pieces. Promotion came up at work and I’ve been working for that for the last two months and never got round to it.”
